MacDonell recognizes local cleaners as District 56 Small Business of the Month

State Rep. Sharon MacDonell (D-Troy) has recognized Earl Cleaners as House District 56 Small Business of the Month for January, honoring the longtime, family-owned business for its service to the community.

Founded in 1942 and owned by the Polychronou family since 1975, Earl Cleaners is one of Clawson’s oldest small businesses and is currently owned by Dimitri Polychronou.

“Earl Cleaners has earned the trust of generations of residents through their attention to detail and the genuine care they show every customer,” MacDonell said. “It was especially meaningful to joined by members of the Clawson City Council and Chamber of Commerce in celebrating a business that truly represents the best of our community. Congratulations to Dimitri Polychronou and the entire Earl Cleaners team on this well-deserved recognition.”
