The Jackson Police Department team jumps into the icy waters of Clark Lake on Saturday, Jan. 31 for the Polar Plunge, held at Eagle’s Nest Bar & Grill. The JPD was the top law enforcement team at the event, raising $3,064 to support the Special Olympics Michigan.
The Polar Plunge, organized in partnership with the Law?Enforcement?Torch Run (LETR), is Special Olympics Michigan’s signature fundraising event. Each plunge brings together community groups, law-enforcement officers, businesses and athletes to make a splash for inclusion, acceptance and the transformative power of sport.
