The Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools Foundation will be holding a Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser on Monday, February 23, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Dig In Cafe and Catering in Augusta. The meal will include lasagna, salad, bread, and a cookie.
It will all be take out so folks can stop on their way home from work and grab dinner. The cost of each dinner is $15. No need to call ahead (although it sometimes has sold out around 6)—just pull up to the take out window and food will be delivered at the front door.
This past year, the Foundation awarded 27 Educational Enhancement Grants totaling $11,360, recognized 8 middle school students for good citizenship and academics, and awarded 17 students with 32 separate scholarships to continue their education for a total of $65,685.
The G-A Community Schools Foundation is a 501c3 organization which provides scholarships to seniors, classroom grants for staff, and recognition of middle school students.
