Dykema recently announced the launch of its yearlong centennial celebration as the firm approaches its 100th anniversary on June 1.
Over the past century, Dykema has expanded from its Midwestern roots into a national platform serving Fortune 1000 and middle-market companies, with offices across the United States and a reputation for practical, business-focused legal counsel.
“As we approach this milestone, we are proud of the firm Dykema has become and deeply grateful to the generations of lawyers and professionals who built it,” said Len Wolfe, Chair and CEO of Dykema. “Our centennial is not only an opportunity to honor our history, but also to celebrate the people and clients who continue to shape our future. We enter our second century focused on growth, innovation, and delivering exceptional service in an increasingly complex, yet exciting, legal and business environment.”
Dykema’s centennial celebration will unfold throughout 2026 and include a series of initiatives designed to honor the firm’s history, engage clients and communities, and reinforce the firm’s strategic priorities in the lead-up to and beyond its official centennial on June 1.
Among the key centennial initiatives:
Centennial Celebration in Detroit — An official firmwide celebration planned for late June in Downtown Detroit’s Campus Martius Park, commemorating the firm’s June 1, 1926, founding and reaffirming its enduring connection to the city where it started.
100 Years, 100 Stories — A yearlong content series sharing defining moments from Dykema’s history, told through the voices of the attorneys and professionals who lived them. The series highlights the firm’s unique heritage while reinforcing the culture and values that continue to guide its future.
Dykema100.com — A dedicated centennial website launching February 21—100 days before the firm’s official anniversary—which will serve as the hub for anniversary content and information, including the 100 Years, 100 Stories series, a firm history timeline, event information, and other centennial features.
Traveling Centennial Exhibit — A curated collection of historical artifacts and memorabilia that will visit each Dykema office, connecting colleagues nationwide to the firm’s shared history.
Client and Community Engagement — A series of client-focused programs and community-driven initiatives throughout the year, reflecting the firm’s long-standing commitment to partnership and service beyond the practice of law.
“Our history matters because it informs how we practice law today,” Wolfe added.
“The same principles that guided the firm’s founders nearly a century ago—collaboration, business sense, and a focus on our clients’ priorities—continue to define how we provide legal services and grow our firm. As we approach June 1, 2026, we find the centennial year is a moment to reflect, but even more importantly, it’s a moment to build.”
