Library Hosts Book Club on April 20


Book Club at the MADL Muskegon Township Branch, 1910 E Apple Ave., Muskegon, Michigan 49442, is set 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.,Monday, April 20. Copies of the monthly selection are available at the library. New participants are welcome.

The April book is The Camelot Caper by Elizabeth Peters. This 1969 romantic suspense novel  features the character John Smythe and an American woman, Jessica Tregarth, who gets caught up in a mystery involving Arthurian legend and a family heirloom in Cornwall, England.


West Michigan Symphony presents
‘Guitar Romance’ April 17  

  
Pablo Sáinz Villegas is hailed as “the soul of the Spanish guitar.” His passionate performances, filled with flair and emotional depth, captivate audiences. Don’t miss this evocative evening showcasing the finest of classical guitar.

The concert is set 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 17, at the Frauenthal Center.

Postcard Salon Sale set April 16


The fund-raising Postcard Salon challenges artists of all ages and artistic levels to create postcard-sized art to display and sell at the Muskegon Museum of Art. 

All works of art will be available to purchase for $30 each, with the sale a 50/50 split between the artist and the museum. 

Custom framing will be available  for a small fee, courtesy of the Frame and Mat Shop in Grand Haven.

The Reception & Sale is set 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 16. The sale begins at 6:30 p.m. MMA Members get a 5-minute head start.
