Foster Swift elects Executive Committee officers 


The Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC  Executive Committee elected the following officers at its first meeting of the year: 

Andrew C. Vredenburg — President; Laura J. Genovich — Vice President, Grand Rapids; Anna K. Gibson — Secretary; Warren H. Krueger — Vice President, Lansing; Ray H. Littleton — Vice President, Southfield; Nicholas M. Oertel — Treasurer
Vredenburg was previously Vice President of the Grand Rapids office; and previously served as the Commercial Litigation Practice Group leader. 

Genovich is a new member of the Executive Committee. She will serve as Vice President of the Grand Rapids office and oversees the Mentoring Committee as well as serving on the Recruiting Committee. 

Gibson, Krueger, Littleton and Oertel will continue their Executive Committee roles and responsibilities.  

The firm named these attorneys as practice leaders: Alaina M. Nelson for the Trusts & Estates practice group and Michael C. Zahrt as co-leader of the Business & Tax practice group. 

As a business and estate planning attorney in Grand Rapids, Zahrt’s areas of practice focus on business formations and transactions, business and farm succession planning, estate planning and administration and matters in agri-business. 

Mika Meyers elects new management committee   



Jennifer A. Puplava (Chair), Neil P. Jansen, and Curtis L. Underwood have been elected as the Mika Meyers management committee for 2026.

Puplava focuses her practice on technology and intellectual property law, advising clients on privacy, data security, and regulatory compliance.

Jansen’s broad-based practice  includes civil and real estate litigation, energy and natural resources, elder law, probate and trust administration, estate planning, and trust disputes. for clients.

Underwood concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, entity formation, shareholder disputes, liquor licensing, and real estate development.
