Thursday Night Music Club set May 21
Bethi Lewis & the Electric Pineapple will perform at the Thursday Night Music Club, 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 21, at the MADL?Norton Shores Branch, 705 Seminole Road, Norton Shores.
Lewis is a dynamic Michigan-based singer-songwriter, with an eclectic mix of country, folk, rock, blues, and gospel music.
She grew up in Delton in Barry County, and started singing at the age of 3 to accompany her father’s sermons.
At the age of 14 she was leading worship at White Pigeon Community Church and began singing professionally in 2021.
This is a free concert. No tickets or registration are required.

The All?Star Finale to the season is set 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 8, at the Frauenthal Center. With conductor Scott Speck, Igor Cetkovic on cello, and Peter Kurdziel on organ. ‘Pow! The Art of Comics’
runs through May 17
The Muskegon Museum of Art hosts “POW! The Art of Comics,” through May 17, featuring over 100 original comic drawings from the 1970s to today, including favorites like Superman, Supergirl, and The Avengers.
Hollywood movie art, vintage comics, and original comic strip drawings from the 1950s are also on view as well as a life-sized Batmobile, and Batman costumes from the 1960s, and 1980s, and interactive displays for fans of all ages.
