Peddlers’ Market Set for Saturday Downtown

Nearly 100 vendors from throughout West Michigan will gather in downtown Zeeland Saturday to sell their wares at the 12th Spring Peddlers’ Market.

The open-air market will take place on Church Street, between Main Avenue and Central Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors can browse a mix of goods, including locally handmade children’s clothing and accessories, screen-printed clothing, art prints, flowers and botanicals, handmade jewelry, household gifts and goods, vintage furniture and décor, architectural salvage, antiques, repurposed finds and handmade specialties, including fresh bread and handcrafted outdoor furniture.

In addition to the main Peddlers’ Market, more than 30 kids will display their products at the Little Peddlers’ Market, which is in its fifth year – “where little kids with big ideas can peddle their items,” city events coordinator Kerri VanDorp said.

Beyond shopping, Peddlers’ Market attendees can enjoy live local music and on-site food trucks, all within the city’s official social district.
