Prairie Baptist Church in Scotts celebrated 50 years with two services May 10 featuring former pastors of the local chuch delivering sermons, leading music and Sunday School.
Sunday School was led by Pastor Todd Harrison and his wife. Pastor Todd Harrison is the son of current Prairie Baptist Church Pastor Tom Harrison and Trish Harrison.
Former Prairie Baptist Church Pastor Dr. Bruce Love delivered the sermon at the 11 a.m. service.
Following a lunch on the church grounds, Dr. Jimmy Harrison provided the sermon at the 1:45 service.
Pastor Gene Haymaker and Pastor John Woullard were leaders of the music.
There were pictures and information about the church’s history for visitors to enjoy.

During the 50 year celebration of Prairie Baptist Church on May 10, (from left) Cliff and Diane Lipscomb, Larry Boynton, Ron and Rene White, and Robyn Maxson were honored for being the only residents who have attended Prairie Baptist Church for the entire 50 years at the current location. They also attended when the church was in Climax.
