Honoring untold stories
The Women Lawyers
Association of Michigan recently conducted its 108th Annual Meeting at
the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. This year’s annual meeting
celebrated the theme “Tell Her Story,” embodying WLAM’s commitment to
honoring and preserving the often untold narratives of women who have
shaped the legal profession in Michigan and beyond. Happy to welcome
attendees to the event were WLAM board members (left to right) Abril
Siewert of Valdes Law PLLC, Angela Medley of Medley Law PLLC, Kirsten J.
Silwanowicz of the Detroit Housing Commission, Alexandria Casperson of
the Michigan Department of Attorney General, and Macomb County Circuit
Court Judge Tanya A. Grillo. The meeting concluded with a closing
program on Saturday, April 25, at Michigan Central Station in Detroit.
