Law school’s 2025 alumni reach new high in post-graduation success

Wayne State University Law School’s Class of 2025 achieved a 95.2% employment rate for full-time, long-term, bar passage-required or J.D. advantage positions, according to data collected pursuant to American Bar Association protocols. This “gold standard” employment outcome marks a new historic high for the law school.

Recent innovations advancing this achievement include an expansion of Wayne Law’s employer network into new markets, an individualized approach to student career advising, and innovations to help graduates compete in the new direct portal application market.

Wayne Law graduates also surpassed the statewide average on the February 2026 Michigan bar examination when 88% of Wayne Law first-time takers passed the exam compared to 61% of graduates statewide. Wayne Law’s bar preparation program, implemented with partner JD Advising, underscores the law school’s commitment to the success of its graduates.

“Wayne Law is very happy to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our graduates, whose exceptional academic achievement, employment rates, and bar success exemplify the caliber of talent nurtured within our institution,” said?Lisa Fadler, senior assistant dean of career success.
