Fitz was arraigned Monday before Magistrate Ryan Zemke in the 41B District Court in Clinton Township,
Fitz is charged with the following offenses:
FIVE COUNTS: Child Sexually Abusive Activity – Aggravated, a felony punishable by up to 25 years.
FIVE COUNTS: Computers - Using To Commit A Crime – Maximum Imprisonment Of 20 Years Or More Or Life, a felony punishable by up to 20 years.
FIVE COUNTS: Child Sexually Abusive Material – Aggravated Possession, a felony punishable by up to 10 years.
FIVE COUNTS: Computers - Using To Commit A Crime – Maximum Imprisonment Of 10 Years Or More but Less Than 20 Years, a felony punishable by up to 10 years.
Habitual Offender – Second Offense Notice, an aggravating sentencing factor.
“Children are precious and deserve to grow up free from exploitation, abuse, and fear. The allegations in this case are profoundly disturbing. My office will relentlessly pursue justice and seek to hold predators fully accountable,” said Peter J. Lucido.
Zemke set Fitz’s bond at $500,000 cash or surety only.
Fitz is scheduled to appear for a Probable Cause Conference before Judge Jacob Femminineo Jr. at the 41B District Court on June 8.
