The Galesburg Downtown Development Authority will be holding a ceremony Tuesday, June 30 at 6 p.m. announcing the first 45 names that will be placed on a new Wall of Honor in the center of Galesburg at the General Shafter Memorial.
This will be a growing list of names of people who have lived, or live in Galesburg or attended Galesburg-Augusta High School and have served in the military.
Wayne Patterson has made a sign that will be placed in the center of the Wall of Honor.
