Last year’s Starlight Spectacular Drone show at the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival drew a significant amount of positive response and this year’s show promises to be just as spectacular.
The Starlight Spectacular, powered by Starlight Aerial Productions and Great Lakes Drone Company, will be held July 2 at 10:15 p.m. at Battle Creek Executive Airport.
This show will feature 200 drones specially programed for an exclusively unique experience only for Battle Creek.
Matthew Quinn, owner, CEO of Great Lakes Drone Company LLC, said this year’s show will be fairly different then last year’s and will definitely have an American 250 birthday celebration theme intertwined in the show.
Quinn adds Redline Air Shows will also be back to fly during the show as well as part of the choreography.
Audiences can watch the drones light up the sky with a terrific soundtrack as Redline dances above with a show of lights, sparks, and fireworks.
Barbara A. Haluszka, executive director Battle Creek Field of Flight, said positive feedback last year was a driving force why organizers chose to bring the drone show back in 2026.
