Oakland County Health Department presents ‘Vape 101’ online

The Oakland County Health Department will offer an online “Vape 101” presentation in the coming months via Microsoft Teams.  

“Vape 101” is a free, one-hour educational training about the real dangers of vaping.  Participants will learn about:
   • Vaping:?What it is and what to know
   • Developing Brain: How vaping can affect youth
   • Risks &?Warnings: Health resits and warning signs
   • Talk &?Connect: Start conversations that matter
   • Support &?Resources: Help and hope for youth and families

The training is designed for, parents; community members and organizations; and middle, high school, and college students.

Upcoming trainings will take place on the following Wednesdays beginning at noon:
   • August 5
   • August 26
   • September 9
   • September 30
