C-S, G-A football teams to scrimmage three teams Aug. 20

Both the Climax-Scotts and Galesburg-Augusta varsity football teams will play scrimmages August 20 ahead of their season openers.

C-S is scheduled to play Martin, Burr Oak and Marcellus August 20 at 5 p.m. at Mendon.

The Panthers open the new season August 28 at Concord.

Both the G-A JV and varsity football teams are scheduled to play a scrimmage August 20 at G-A High School against Saugatuck, Quincy, Union City, Delton-Kellogg and Schoolcraft.

The JVs are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and the varsity at 6 p.m.

G-A is scheduled to play at Saugatuck August 27 at 7 p.m. in its season opener.
