The National Center for State Courts will present the webinar “Advancing Criminal History Reporting through NODS” on Tuesday, September 8, from 3 to 4 p.m.
Timely and accurate criminal history reporting supports public safety, decision-making, and justice system operations. Courts play a critical role by generating and transmitting case disposition data to state repositories and systems.
In the September Data Dives webinar, attendees will see a demonstration of criminal history reporting dashboards that showcase how courts and justice partners can better assess reporting performance, data quality, and interoperability.
The session will also highlight findings from the recently released report, “Advancing Criminal History Reporting Through NODS: Implementation, Findings, and Recommendations,” developed by NCSC in partnership with SEARCH. Drawing on insights from courts and justice partners, the report examines how the National Open Court Data Standards (NODS) can potentially strengthen criminal history reporting and improve data exchange across justice systems.
