The USS?Silversides Submarine Museum, with a World War II?submarine and a two-story museum and a gift store, is open for summer hours through October 31, from 10 a.m., to 5 p.m., 7 days a week. The museum is located is at 1346 Bluff St.

‘Music of the Beach Boys’

Catch the sun-soaked sounds of Endless Summer as the Beach Boys join the West Michigan Symphony for full orchestral arrangements of timeless hits like “Good Vibrations,” “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “California Girls,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” and more.

MMA Appraisal Fair

Appraisers from DuMouchelles Auction House in Detroit will be on hand at the Muskegon Museum of Art to evaluate fine art, antiques, and other collectibles.
Ticket Includes:
• 10-minute verbal evaluation for one item
• One complimentary museum admission per ticket. (Purchase additional guest admissions in the MMA Store)
No refunds will be issued within two weeks prior to the event start date.
Complimentary light snacks provided.
The event is set 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Muskegon Museum of Art.
All proceeds benefit the Muskegon Museum of Art.
Guns, knives, swords, and other weaponry will not be appraised and are not allowed in the museum.
