‘Master Class in Objections’ presented online Nov. 12

The Oakland County Bar Association will present a professional development webinar on “Persuasive Advocacy: A Master Class in Objections” Thursday, November 12, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Objections are far more than interruptions—they are strategic tools that can shape the presentation of evidence, protect the record, and influence the outcome of a trial. Local trial lawyers will lead this advanced master class on the art of making and defending objections. Through practical examples and courtroom-tested strategies, the panel will demonstrate how experienced litigators use objections effectively without losing credibility before the judge or jury.

Speaking at the webinar will be:

• Gerald J. Gleeson II, Miller Canfield
• Jennifer Grieco, Altior Law
• Jeffrey Hall, Oakland County Prosecutors Office
• Judith Susskind, Sommers Schwartz

Cost for the webinar is $30 for OCBA members; $20 new lawyers (85191+), admin assistants, paralegals, and students; and $40 for non-members. To register, visit www.ocba.org and click on “events.”`
