With Halloween right around the corner, homeowners Dale and Sheryl Oosting celebrate the season with their very own spooky, haunted display.

The Oostings waste no time preparing for the holiday, gathering whimsical and scary decorations from different places long before Halloween arrives. Their purpose? To attract more trick-or-treaters to their Zeeland neighborhood and spread a little holiday cheer.

Although Central Avenue draws larger crowds during this time of year, Dale and Sheryl created their display to encourage more families to visit their quieter Zeeland neighborhood.

Planning begins as early as July, once the annual Pumpkinfest theme is officially announced. The Oostings collect all sorts of decorations throughout the year, including floating ghouls, creepy crawlies, and much more. The display has already attracted attention from nearby families, and the couple has noticed more traffic passing their home.

Dale and Sheryl Oosting hope to attract more trick-or-treaters to their neighborhood and invite families to experience their spooky display. Their display is located at 621 E. Lincoln Ave., offering yet another exciting stop for families to enjoy the spooky season.
