Warner Norcross’s Gerville-Reache elected to Executive Committee of the ABA Council of Appellate Lawyers
Gaetan Gerville-Reache, an attorney with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the American Bar Association’s Council of Appellate Lawyers, or CAL.
CAL is the first and only national appellate bench-bar organization in the country.
Its mission is to foster a dialogue among federal and state appellate lawyers and judges that will improve appellate advocacy and strengthen
ties among the federal, state and local appellate bar associations.
Gerville-Reache concentrates his practice in litigation, representing corporations, banks and domestic and foreign governments in high-stakes appeals and critical motions, both in state and federal courts. He currently serves on the Council for the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a member of the American Bar Association and of the Grand Rapids Bar Association Litigation Section.
Gerville-Reache also is a member of the Michigan Supreme Court's Advocates Guild and the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society. He is a regular contributor to the One Court of Justice blog, the leading blog analyzing Michigan’s appellate courts.
Gerville-Reache holds a bachelor of arts degree and a doctor of jurisprudence from Northwestern University, where he graduated cum laude.
