Robert E.L. Wright inducted into National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals

The National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, a group of well-established and trusted alternative dispute resolution professionals from across the U.S., recently inducted West Michigan attorney Robert E. L. Wright into its exclusive ranks.

Membership in NADN is by invitation only and limited to ADR professionals who have distinguished themselves by their extensive experience facilitating civil and commercial disputes and their dedication to the continuing development of arbitration and mediation as an alternative to traditional courtroom litigation. NADN members represent all 50 states.

“I am grateful and delighted to be included among the most highly regarded professionals in the ADR field and proud to represent the Academy as a proponent of ADR’s advantages,” said Wright. “I have devoted much of my career to helping litigants reach meaningful outcomes. I am honored to be recognized for those efforts.”

An attorney with Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone for more than 20 years, Mr. Wright founded The Peace Talks PLC in 2000. He has participated in hundreds of ADR proceedings involving both business and personal disputes in matters which have included commercial, bankruptcy, employment, real estate, and family law issues.

In addition to his NADN membership, in 2016 Wright received the State Bar of Michigan Alternative Dispute Resolution Section’s Distinguished Service Award and was named Best Lawyers® Grand Rapids Arbitration Lawyer of the Year. He has long held the highest “AV” peer rating by Martindale-Hubbell and has been regularly selected to the annual list of Michigan Super Lawyers by Thomson Reuters.

Founded in 2000, The Peace Talks PLC provides mediation options to parties involved in a range of business, personal, and community disputes, offering a faster, more efficient, and less expensive alternative to traditional litigation.
