Warner welcomes four attorneys to Grand Rapids office

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP recently welcomed eight new attorneys: Scott M. Carter, Joshua M. Hoebeke, Livia Khemmoro, Tessa G. Mallett, Joshua R. Reuter, Janelle E. Shankin, Bill K.A. Warners and Molly K. Williams.  

Mallett, Reuter, Shankin and Warners are based in the Grand Rapids office; Carter, Hoebeke and Williams are based in the Detroit office, Khemmoro is based in Macomb County.

Mallett received her law degree magna cum laude from MSU College of Law, where she was managing editor of the Michigan State International Law Review. She has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and women’s and gender studies summa cum laude from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Mallett previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Patrick M. Meter of the Michigan Court of Appeals.   

Reuter received his law degree summa cum laude from MSU College of Law. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from Kalamazoo College. Reuter interned with the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.  

Shankin received her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she was senior managing editor of the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality. She holds a bachelor of business administration magna cum laude from Grand Valley State University in finance and human resource management. Shankin served as a case management supervisor for the Maurer Protective Order Project.

Warners received his law degree from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he was staff editor of the UIC Review of Intellectual Property Law and a clinical intern for the college’s International Human Rights Clinic. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from Calvin University. Warners previously served as an intern for the Forest Preserve District of the Cook County Law Division.

Probate Section of GRBA to host a virtual Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, April 26

Please join the Probate Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association  for a bi-monthly lunch and learn seminar, slated for noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 26.  

The Section plans to host a lunch and learn every other month. 

 The seminar is free for GRBA Section members,  and is $20 for non-members.
