Rakow Scholarship, Historical Society lunch planned for Nov. 16

The annual Rakow Scholarship Awards and Historical Society Luncheon co-hosted by the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, and the Historical Society of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan will be hosted on Friday, Nov. 16, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel on Washington Blvd. in downtown Detroit. The program will feature the presentation of the Federal Bar Foundation's annual Rakow Scholarship Awards to students from each of Michigan's law schools and a very special Historical Society program featuring David G. Chardavoyne, author of "The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan - People, Law and Politics." Cost is $25, for members; $20 for clerks; and $35 for non-members.
