Regents considering new dean for UM Law School
ANN ARBOR (AP) -- The University of Michigan says the board of regents will consider naming Mark D. West as law school dean effective Sept. 1.
West now is the law school's associate dean for academic affairs.
Provost Philip Hanlon announced the selection Wednesday.
West joined the law school in 1998 as an assistant professor.
Evan Caminker is stepping down after 10 years as dean on Aug. 31.
