'Meet the Judges Party' offers networking opportunities, May 16
The Oakland County Bar Association's New Lawyers Committee will host the "Spring 2013 Meet the Judges Party" on Thursday, May 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Birmingham Athletic Club located at 4033 W. Maple Rd. in Bloomfield Hills.
The annual event offers the opportunity to meet and network with fellow lawyers, judges, and distinguished guests of the State of Michigan and Oakland County.
Judges from the following courts have been invited: all Oakland County District Courts, Oakland County Probate Court, Oakland County Circuit Court, Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, and U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
A silent auction will also take place. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Oakland County. The silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m. and will end at 7:30 p.m.
The door open at 5:30 p.m. Stationed hors d'oeuvres will be served from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening.
Reservations must be received by Monday, May 6, for this event.
The cost for those who pre-register are $45 for OCBA members and $65 for all non-OCBA members. At the door OCBA members will pay $70 and all non-OCBA members pay $90. For additional information, call the OCBA at (248) 334-3400 or visit www.ocba.org.
