The 8th Annual Michael K. Lee Celebrating Our Diverse Bar event took place March 30 at the Detroit Seafood Market. The networking event drew members from more than 20 area bar associations, including the Detroit Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and D. Augustus Straker Bar Association. Among those on hand for the celebration were (left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Edward Ewell Jr., Alexander Simpson, Mayra Rodriguez, retired Judge William Giovan, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Larry Talon, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Riordan, Susan Fairchild, Brian Summerfield, Elisa Angeli-Palizzi, and Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Ulysses Boykin.
