The Criminal Defense Association of Michigan (CDAM) is teaming up with the Macomb County Bar Association this year to provide a series of criminal seminars for court appointments. The most recent event was held Feb. 22, titled “Evidence Boot Camp A (Hands on Training),” featuring speakers (left to right) Thomas Cranmer of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone PLC, and Bernard Jocuns of Bernard Anthony Jocuns & Associates PLLC. All of these CDAM seminars are being held at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township. Along with another Evidence Boot Camp, training in the future will cover such subjects as witness examinations as well as admitting evidence and sentencing and sentencing mitigation.
