Intellectual property and patent law attorney Andrew S. AbdulNour has joined Butzel’s Ann Arbor office as an associate.
AbdulNour earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University. As an engineer, he focused his efforts on testing and product development, and has held positions at Wayne State’s Optical Engine Lab, American Axle, Ford Motor Company, and Hanon Systems.
In 2022 he earned a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
AbdulNour has practiced as a patent attorney, and is currently part of the Intellectual Property Group at Butzel where he specializes in cyber security and automotive licensing.
He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
