The Bankruptcy Committee of the Federal Bar Association (FBA), Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, hosted the Walter Shapero Bankruptcy Symposium on Thursday, May 22, at the Southfield Westin. Prior to the symposium, the bankruptcy
community hosted a reception to welcome new U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Mark A. Randon (second from right). Happy to support their new peer were Bankruptcy Judges (left to right) Thomas J. Tucker, Steven W. Rhodes, and Phillip J. Shefferly. Sponsoring the reception were the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, the Debtor/Creditors’ Rights Committee of the State Bar of Michigan’s Business Law Section, Turnaround Management Association, Chapter 7 Trustee Association, Access to Bankruptcy Court, and the FBA.
