Miziolek appointed treasurer of Citizens Research Council Of Michigan
Aleksandra A. Miziolek, leader of Dykema's Automotive Industry Group, was named Treasurer of the Citizens Research Council of Michigan's (CRC) Board of Directors for the 2012 term. Miziolek was elected to her new role at the CRC's 95th annual meeting on September 16, 2011.
Miziolek's national practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and SEC disclosure matters, primarily for companies in the automotive and transportation industries. She also regularly advises public and private companies in general corporate matters, joint ventures and other strategic alliances. She founded the Dykema Automotive Institute, a monthly forum for industry experts who share information about current automotive industry trends and topics. In addition to leading the firm's Automotive Industry Group, Miziolek has held a number of leadership roles, including having served on the firm's Executive Board and as Director of the firm's Business Services Department.
Founded in 1916, CRC works to improve government in Michigan. The organization provides factual, unbiased, independent information concerning significant issues of state and local government organization, policy, and finance. By delivery of this information to policymakers and citizens, CRC aims to ensure sound and rational public policy formation in Michigan
