Sworn In
Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Lisa Gorcyca (right) was happy to swear in Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy Tom Biggers (left) as a new attorney on Wednesday, May 14. Biggers worked full time as he studied for his law degree at Cooley Law School. While working and attending law school, he was nominated by his supervisors and received the Distinguished Service Award from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. Biggers graduated from Cooley in December 2013 and passed the February 2014 bar exam. He was sponsored by attorney Laura McLane for admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
