Testifying before the House committee
Rep. Brett Roberts, R-Eaton Township, (right), along with Jackson College's Jeremy Frew, Dean of Occupational Education, and Provost Rebekah Woods, testified on Feb. 12 before the House Commerce and Trade Committee. Roberts, Frew and Dr. Woods gave a presentation on Jackson College's dual enrollment program-Jackson Area College and Career Connection Early/Middle College, also known as JAC3-which allows high school students to start college coursework during their junior year. Additionally, they gave testimony on the importance of the college's Hillsdale County Welding and Advanced Manufacturing Program.
