Fraser Trebilcock attorney Thaddeus E. Morgan was recently selected as president of the Michigan State University College of Law American Inn of Court. The mission of this national collegiate program is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility and legal skills. There are currently more than 29,000 members across the country, including state, federal and administrative law judges, attorneys, legal scholars and law students.
Morgan is the immediate past president of Fraser Trebilcock, a position he held from 2010-2013, and currently serves as the firm's voting representative for SCG Legal, an international network of leading law firms.
Recently, Morgan was named 2015 Construction Litigation “Lawyer of the Year” in Lansing by Best Lawyers, and was honored as a 2014 Super Lawyer in the field of Business Litigation, an honor awarded to only five percent of attorneys in Michigan in their respective field.
A former assistant prosecutor and assistant attorney general, Morgan has more than 20 years of litigation experience. He is a member and previous Chair of the State Bar of Michigan's United States Courts Committee, a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Litigation Council, and he is also the past Chair of the East Lansing Parks and Recreation Commission.
