Law professor's career celebrated
MSU College of Law honored George Roumell for nearly 60 years of teaching at DCL/MSU Law. Family, friends, colleagues and former students gathered at the Detroit Athletic Club to honor and celebrate Roumell's remarkable teaching career and his contributions to DCL and MSU Law. The event was hosted by the Hon. Dan Downey, one of many former students in attendance.
As a lasting legacy of George's career, MSU Law has created the Professor George Roumell Scholar Fund. This scholarship program will name students as Roumell Scholars the first type of program at MSU Law. Through the generosity of donors nearly $105,000 has been raised to date in support of the Roumell Scholarship Fund.
