The State Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section will hold a Mediator Forum for ADR Section members on Thursday, Dec. 15, at Varnum LLP, 160 W. Fort Street, Fifth Floor in Detroit.
There will be a brief presentation, “Early Mediation of Employment Disputes,” by Earlene Baggett-Hayes, Richard A. Hooker, and Sheldon J. Stark.
Questions to the presentation panel may be submitted in advance by e-mailing Shel Stark at shel@starkmediator.com.
Small group discussion topics include the timing of opening offers, dealing with party/advocate impatience, techniques for responding to charges an offer has “nuisance value,” and the sharing of a “favorite” technique.
