Detroit man bound over on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution

Macomb County authorities say that 36-year-old Antonio Morrow of Detroit was bound over to circuit court following allegations that he transported two women to a hotel in Chesterfield Township last January for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

On Monday, Morrow’s preliminary exam was held before visiting Judge Carl Marlinga in the 41A District Court in Shelby Township.

At the conclusion of the Exam, Judge Marlinga bound Morrow over on the following charges:

Prostitution/transporting Person, a 20-year felony

Prostitution/transporting Person, a 20-year felony

Operating – License Suspended, Revoked, Denied, a 93-day misdemeanor

Habitual Offender – Fourth Offense Notice, an aggravating sentencing factor.

Morrow will be arraigned before Judge Richard L. Caretti in the Macomb County Circuit Court on Oct. 28.
