Ballots for the 2021 State Bar of Michigan election will be emailed on Friday, May 21, with online voting available through Tuesday, June 15.
There are contested races for the Board of Commissioners in Districts D, H, and I and in the Young Lawyers Section Executive Council in District 1. Members will not receive a ballot unless their address on file is within the following counties: Lenawee, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne.
The email will come from sbmelection@electionservicescorp.com, not from the State Bar, with the subject line, “Vote Now in the 2021 State Bar of Michigan Election—E-Ballot enclosed.”
To ensure that members receive their ballots, they should add sbmelection@electionservicescorp.com to their email contact list.
