Western Michigan University Cooley Law School staff, students, and graduates participated in the “Road to Restoration Drivers’ License Restoration Clinic” as part of Pro Bono Month activities. The Michigan Department of Transportation conducted the clinic on October 12 in Lansing.

During the event, pro bono attorneys, with the help of WMU-Cooley Law School students, reviewed driving records, helped clients contact courts, and instructed individuals on steps necessary to restore their driving privileges.

Those who participated in the pro bono clinic included Karen Poole, WMU-Cooley director of career and professional development; graduates Yolanda Bennet, Amia Banks, Linda Rawls, and Janet McDuffey; and students Alyx Pedraza, Adriana Burga, and Francis Silney-Bah.
