The deadline has been extended for those applying for a seat on the Oakland County 50th District Court to replace vacating Judge Michael C. Martinez.
To be considered for this position, applicants must be a State Bar of Michigan member who meets the legal qualifications for this office. To be appointed, applicants must reside within the judicial district.
Judicial appointment questionnaire, writing samples, resume, and supplemental documents must be submitted using the online portal at www.michigan.gov/appointments and received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Additional letters of recommendation can still be submitted after the initial submission to judicialappointments@michigan.gov.
