The Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan (HBAM) and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s Hispanic & Latinx Law Student Association (HiLLSA) are hosting an in-person panel with some of Metro Detroit’s trailblazing attorneys to discuss navigating the legal profession and share career advice with students from law schools across the state.
“Navigating the Legal Profession” will take place Thursday, February 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Room 226 at Detroit Mercy Law, 4001 W. McNichols Rd. in Detroit.
The esteemed panelists will include JoAnn Chávez, senior vice president and chief legal officer at DTE Energy; Gabriel Bedoya, partner and member of the Board of Directors at Honigman LLP; and Juan A. Mateo, principal of the Law Offices of Juan A. Mateo.
