In the Pink
Sixty golfers turned out September 13 for the fourth annual Nine, Wine and Dine event at Lincoln Hills Golf Course in Birmingham. The golf outing served as a fund-raiser for the Shades of Pink Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing “the financial stress for those undergoing breast cancer treatment in Southeast Michigan.” This year, more than $15,000 was raised for Shades of Pink, according to attorneys Mary Pat Meyers and Jenna Wright Greenman, co-presidents of the Foundation that was formed in 2005. The winning foursome included Janina Jacobs, Elizabeth Jolliffe, Kim Young, and Jackie Odom. The winner of the longest drive contest was Julia Kettner, while MaryEllen Whittington and Stephanie Kummer claimed closest to the pin honors. Among those pictured at the outing were (l-r) Toni Cusmano, Michelle Stohler, Judy Susskind, Linda Valencia, Feather Buchanan, Mary Pat Meyers, Annette Abdelfatah, Patty Cardasis, Brooke Buchanan, Elizabeth Rose, and Nina Googasian.
