Maddin Hauser concludes its 2024 Breakfast Bites: Employment Law Series with “Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll” presented online Tuesday, November 19, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Speaking at the online program will be Maddin Hauser Shareholder Ron Sollish, an executive committee member and chairman of the firm’s Corporate/ Employment group. He specializes in employment, real estate, partnership, finance, corporate, and business law. A frequent speaker on legal topics, Sollish has addressed such groups as the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and American Society for Industrial Security.
Sollish graduated with a law degree in 1988 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He earned his B.G.S. from the University of Michigan in 1985. He has been selected for inclusion in the annual edition of Best Lawyers in America® for his work in employment law—individuals. Sollish was named to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame in 2022, and recognized as one of the state’s legal leaders for his successful career and valuable contributions to the community.

NAABA-MI to host Annual Gala Nov. 2
The National Arab American Bar Association Michigan Chapter will host the NAABA-MI 3rd Annual Gala on Saturday, November 2, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Bellagio Banquet Hall, 239000 W. Warren Ave. in Dearborn Heights.
The gala celebrates the Arab American legal community in Michigan. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with law students, practicing attorneys, politicians, judges, and magistrates.
NAABA-MI is pleased to announce that the NAABA-MI 3rd Annual Gala keynote speaker will be Suzanne Sukkar, a U.S. business immigration attorney at Dickinson Wright PLLC. In addition, Sukkar was appointed by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to serve on the Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs (CMEAA), which is one of three ethnic commissions in the State of Michigan. She currently serves as the chair of CMEAA. She is also a past-President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM), and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the WLAM Foundation.
