State of the Court
The Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, kicked off its annual luncheon program on Wednesday, September 25, at the Atheneum in Detroit with a “State of the Court” address by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Sean Cox (eighth from right), Eastern District of Michigan. Cox was appointed to the federal bench on June 12, 2006, after previously serving as a judge of the Wayne County Circuit Court from 1996 to 2006. Prior to his circuit court service, Cox was a partner with the law firm of Cummings, McClorey, Davis, and Acho.
