SSPC is honored to announce the addition of two accomplished attorneys, Christopher (Cris) Phillips and Lindsay Niehaus Stuart, to its team of skilled professionals. Both will play pivotal roles in the firm’s newly established Judicial Division, bringing a wealth of legal experience and leadership to the firm’s growing practice areas.
Phillips joins the firm as senior managing attorney and partner in the Judicial Division. He has been practicing law since 2001, after receiving his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo and his Juris Doctor from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Phillips’ experience includes 20 years in mortgage default legal services and management including a diverse background in Litigation, Real Estate, Creditor’s Rights, and Bankruptcy.
“Cris has been a colleague and a friend for 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our firm along with character and values that are a fantastic cultural fit,” said President, Neil Sherman.
Stuart joins the firm as the foreclosure managing attorney and partner in the newly formed Judicial Division of SSPC. Stuart is a graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law and holds an MBA from Northern Kentucky University. She is also a licensed Title Insurance Agent in Ohio and Indiana.
“Lindsay brings with her not only a wealth of end-to-end default legal experience, but also a unique background in operations, compliance, corporate counsel, and executive leadership,” said Renee O’Donnell, senior vice president of Operations.
Stuart will oversee legal and operational processes in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Her role will focus on providing strategic advice on judicial foreclosures, ensuring efficient case distribution, and managing workloads across multiple jurisdictions.
