Vegas Night
The Black Law Students Association (BLSA) of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law hosted its Vegas Night Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, March 22, at North Rosedale Park Civic Association in Detroit. With the theme of “Royal Palace’ this year, the event included a silent auction showcase, raffles, casino style games, music, food, and drinks. Happy to welcome guests were (l-r) BLSA Parliamentarian Ebony Daniels, BLSA Treasurer Alexis Farmer, BLSA President Stephanie Thomas, BLSA Vice President Mecca Muhammad, and BLSA Secretary Danajha Tate. Funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, and silent auction donations for Vegas Night support BLSA’s scholarships to minority students.
