Public invited to provide feedback for long-term judicial system strategy Sept. 16
Interested individuals must register to reserve a spot on the meeting agenda or provide written comments using the public form at https://bit.ly/471YKpj. Once registered, they will be given Zoom coordinates for the meeting. The deadline to register for the meeting is September 15 at 5 p.m.
There is no deadline to submit written comments.
Including a broad range of judicial system stakeholders, the Michigan Judicial Council (MJC) makes recommendations to the Michigan Supreme Court on matters pertinent to the administration of justice, including development of a strategic plan for the Michigan judicial branch and suggestions for proposals that would enhance the work of the courts.
The 2022-25 Strategic Agenda is set to expire at the end of this year, and the MJC is currently seeking public feedback as it works to develop its next three-year plan.

Nominations sought for 2025 G. Thomas Munsterman Award for Jury Innovation
Named in honor of G. Thomas Munsterman, a pioneering leader in jury reform and founder of the NCSC's Center for Jury Studies, the award celebrates forward-thinking initiatives that strengthen the American jury system.
NCSC encourages nominations that highlight measurable improvements or creative approaches that have advanced the fairness, efficiency, or accessibility of jury service.
All nominations must be received by 5 p.m., Friday, September 26, and should include a brief description of the project or innovation, its impact, and supporting materials where applicable.
