The list of those who passed the July bar exam has been posted by the State Board of Law Examiners and is also available on the Board’s website, www.courts.michigan.gov/administration/committees-boards/board-of-law-examiners.

Admission ceremonies have been planned and include the following:

• The Detroit Bar Association/Third Judicial Circuit of Michigan New Lawyer Admission Ceremony will take place on Monday, November 24, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center 13th Floor Auditorium, 2 Woodward in Detroit. All new attorneys who plan to take the oath at this ceremony must register online at www.detroitlawyer.org/admissions-ceremony.

• The Oakland County Bar Association will host the fall 2025 New Lawyers Admissions Ceremony with the Oakland County Circuit Court for the July bar passers on Friday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to noon in the Commissioners Auditorium at the Oakland County Courthouse, 1200 N. Telegraph in Pontiac.  This event will be led by Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery Matis and other judges sitting en banc.  To register, visit www.ocba.org and click on “events.”

• The Macomb County Bar Association will host its new lawyer admission ceremony on Thursday, November 13, at 4 p.m. at the Macomb County Courthouse 3rd floor courtroom of Judge James Biernat Jr., 40 N. Main in Mt. Clemens.  Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m.  To register, visit www.macombbar.org and click on “events.”
