Awards Night
The Eastern District of Michigan Bar Association hosted the 2025 Barbara Rom/Edward Rakow Awards/Court Historical Society Luncheon on Wednesday, November 12, at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. This year’s Barbara J. Rom Award for Bankruptcy Practice Excellence honored Jonathan Green (center). The luncheon keynote speaker was University of Michigan Law School Prof. Michelle Adams (far left). On hand to congratulate Green and welcome Adams were (l-r) Fred Herrmann, Matt Lund, Barbara Rom, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Paul Hage, EDMiBar President Charissa Potts, U.S. District Court Chief Judge Stephen Murphy, Mark Swanson, EDMiBar President-elect Lauren Mandel, and Susan Fairchild.
