After a preliminary hearing last week, 38th District Court Judge Kathleen Galen ruled that sufficient evidence existed to bind Paige over for trial on all counts.
Paige is in custody at the Macomb County Jail on a $1 million cash/surety, no 10% bond.
Paige was bound over on the following charges:
Two Counts - Assault with Intent to Murder, a life or any term of years felony
Weapons - Firearms - Possession by a Prohibited Person, a 5-year felony
Weapons -Ammunition - Possession by a Prohibited Person, a 5-year felony
Carrying a Concealed Weapon, a 5-year felony
Three Counts - Weapons - Felony Firearm, a 2-year felony consecutive to main charge
Police Officer – Fleeing – Third-Degree – Vehicle Code, a 5-year felony
Police Officer – Assaulting/Resisting/Obstructing, a 2-year felony
Paige has a Habitual Offender – Fourth Offense Notice.
Paige will be arraigned before Judge Rachel Rancilio at the Macomb County Circuit Court in Mount Clemens, MI on Feb. 23.
It is alleged that on December 14, 2025, Paige fired multiple handgun shots at his cousin and her boyfriend, wounding the cousin in the shoulder.
When officers contacted him in a vehicle, Paige reportedly ignored lawful commands and fled, leading police from Eastpointe and St. Clair Shores on a high-speed pursuit exceeding 120 mph on eastbound I-94. The chase ended after his vehicle crashed on North River Road, and following a multi-agency search.
Paige was found hiding in a canal beneath a dock and taken into custody.
